We Need to Expand Investigations of Tom Glass' Actions in Campaigns

This guy has been busted twice trying to undermine my campaign by two different sources.  He has upset these ladies with the XXXXXXX Tea Party, huffin' and puffin' against me.  Another says he has used "venom" in discussing my name.  That is not his role, as he is the husband of a competing candidate.  He should have recused himself and someone else should have contacted me about my candidacy if there was an issue.

Months ago, before there was a paperwork issue, I had news interviews dry up right under my feet with no explanation and the invitation to the Amarillo Tea Party just disappeared one day, and no one knew why.

I had an interview with the Amarillo newspaper.   They were gonna do a week of interconnected stories on me.  I put it out on the Intent and three days later they wouldn't take my calls.

I'm not the bad apple here.

But don't worry about me leaving the LP.  I have a mission now:  The removal of anything called unethical (Glass) from power.

Speeding up The Process

A process of working to convince the County Chairs, etc., of the Texas LP to place my name back in contention for the Texas Gubernatorial race has been accelerated.  My plan was to work over the next two months to convince the Texas LP membership at all levels that there is "no Texas law and no Libertarian Party mandate" to keep me off the candidate list.  And my paperwork was approved before it was declined a week later.

And I have long been suspicious that the Glass duo has been working the back channels to harm my invitations to campaign events via their special status within the LP,  from the beginning.  I know this to be true now.

Consequently, I have emailed all the County Chairs that I can find, and I am awaiting their decision on:
1)  Whether Mr. Glass' behind the scenes actions against me warrant his removal as State Vice Chair and 2) Whether I will be reinstated as a candiate before the 9th.

The matter of my candidacy is in their hands, and I will be fine with their decision.  I just don't want it to be a Tom Glass coercion that put me out of the race.

An Air of Entitlement

There is almost nothing in this world that gives me the same joy that I get from screwing with people who put off an air of entitlement.  When I met with Kathie Glass and her husband, Tom, in Amarillo, Texas a few months ago, I saw very quickly that I was being blown off, as I smiled and kindly offered her a bumper sticker and a flier prior to the Tea Party Event.  Her husband did take my offering, so I thought there might be some humanity between the two of them.  (Not after today).

It just makes me want to put on old tennis shoes, duck-ins (over alls) and feed cap when I meet pretentious people like that and start talking red neck, like Andy Griffith.  I've been in so many halls of power in my life that I get a kick out of it when I see someone trying to act like big shots -- Tom and Kathie Glass -- entitled.

Thank you Tom and Kathie Glass.  You're a gift.

I can't tell you how much fun I'm gonna have humbling the two of you.  It's the most fun I have.

Police to Be Present at Tea Party Event/ TheUnethicalTomGlass.blogspot.com

XXXXX:

I called to get dinner reservations for a guest and myself at the XXXXX Tea Party event on the 9th, and XXXXXX XXXXXXXX (XXX-XXX-XXXX) told me that Mr. Glass has worn them out to their last nerve, demanding that I be taken off the invite list.  She told me that they were no longer taking his calls, as a result.

I told her that I would be happy to just bring my books and bumper stickers to pass out to keep the peace and that speaking to a group for 3 minutes was not the end of the world for me.  She said that if I could get placed back on the official candidate list before the 9th that she would stand up to Mr. Glass.

They are planning to have police present to make sure there is no trouble.  I assured her that I'm Gandhian, committed to non-violence, so there would be no problems from my end.  I was quite surprised that Mr. Glass was that threatening to ladies trying to put together a meal for a social event.

Clearly, Mr. Glass has and is engaged in an assassination of my campaign hopes at every level on behalf of his wife.  And he is not representing the Texas LP well to these women.  (If I were running for dog catcher in El Paso, do you think he would place this much effort into hurting my campaign?)  This nepotism is not moral and should be addressed by his removal from Texas LP leadership.

I should be placed back on the candidate list for Texas Governor, as there is no Texas law or Texas LP mandate that requires me to be removed.  (In fact, XXXXXXX told me my paperwork was good before, I expect, Mr. Glass got involved and had me removed form the candidate list.)  Were I to become the Texas LP nominee, I would simply create a very public social, political and constitutional problem for the IRS parties, as you put it so often.

Plus, you are watching me in discussions with a top Former Mises Fellow, an economist from a top Texas university telling me that he is 100% on board with my campaign.  I'm just trying to get him to make it public.

Who else is gonna bring Mises economists into the LP fold?

Mr. Glass, Vice Chair of the Texas LP

Mr. Glass:

It has come to my attention today, from two different sources, that you are making extraordinary efforts to undermine my campaign for Texas Governor.  (I have been suspicious if those were your actions that got my name removed from the invite list at the Amarillo Tea Party event a few months ago, when I protested outside.)  I am sure what you are doing now is independent of any Libertarian obligation you have.  There is clearly nepotism in your heart which clouds your involvement in a campaign that includes your wife and I.  A responsible ethical leader would recuse himself.

Mr. Glass, your days in leadership of the Libertarian Party are numbered because the CEO of the Libertarian Global Library and Book Exchange just said it is so, and I will put $20,000 a year of my own money behind that.

I think Mr. Glass should be removed from leadership to the Texas LP, and I am asking the party to do just that here and now.
